  1. Salar de Uyuni

It is the largest salt desert with a flat surface. In fact, Salar de Uyuni is a once dried-up salt lake located at an altitude of about three thousand six hundred and fifty meters above sea level and has an area equal to ten and a half thousand square kilometers. Also, in Salar de Uyuni you can see two small lakes, which, due to the large deposits of minerals in them, have acquired a very unusual color. In the desert, according to some estimates, there are at least ten billion tons of salt, of which about twenty-five thousand are extracted annually.
