A desert that combines both dryness and humidity. It is also unique in that it is located on the continent, which is all a manifestation of continuous contrast and extremes. Due to the permanently cold climate, the minimum amount of precipitation falls there — less than five centimeters per year, which gives Antarctica the status of a desert, albeit ice. Humidity in such an unusual area is achieved not due to such meager precipitation, but due to eternal glaciers, which can serve as a source of such a necessary resource for a long time.
