  1. Moscow Zoo

This zoo, as it was called earlier, appeared in 1864. It is considered one of the oldest in Europe. 1150 species of animals found shelter there, and 8856 live specimens. The zoo in Moscow occupies 22 hectares. In 2013, for the first time «Night at the Zoo» campaign took place. During which two excursions were held, absolutely free of charge. There is an aquarium, a terrarium, a dolphinarium, a Bird House, a Giraffe House, and the Children’s Zoo. In the center of a huge, noisy metropolis, this wonderful island of nature is located, which is always glad to guests and pleases them with its beautiful and modern appearance.
