If you did not know that the end of 2020 was marked by the fact that almost all Russian pop stars boycotted television broadcasts and various concerts, refusing to perform in front of the people of the country. They motivated this by the fact that the state and citizens did not support the celebrity during the pandemic, which means that they are unworthy to hear their gorgeous voices.
A very interesting situation, especially considering how one individual singer, Stas Mikhailov, reacted to it.
Mikhailov said that he would not mind speaking for the people, or even in the Kremlin, but only for a billion rubles. At the same time, he openly stated that he did not support the boycott of performers, but decided to set such a price tag for his performance, since the state had no choice.
