Where did everyone disappeared? The amazing beauty of China without tourists

Tourist destinations in China can be even more crowded than the subway train at rush hour, due to the sheer population. For example, in the south of China, a new glass bridge was opened over an abyss, but it had to be closed due to an endless flow of tourists, as the authorities fear that it simply may not withstand the load. Nevertheless, judging by these breathtaking pictures, there are rare moments and remote areas of the country where you will not find a living soul for many kilometers around. Photos were taken in scenic spots such as Dunhuang, an oasis on the edge of the Gobi Desert in northwestern China, or Jiuzhaigou, a protected natural park in remote areas of Sichuan province.
