Bets on game matches and on their outcomes have become part of our lives. Even
during the telecast of the World Boxing Championship or the match of the Russian
Football League, advertisements of bookmakers are always shown with an appeal to
place another bet.
Most of the citizens of Russia do not even pay attention to such advertising moves,
but some decide to try their chances at bets, add excitement to watch any sporting
event, and subsequently very much regret it.
Grigory Leps turned out to be one of those people who at first bet innocuous three-
digit amounts, but finally it all ends with the sale of property and depositing funds to
the bookmaker's deposit.
Leps is a fan of hockey, it was on the outcomes of matches in this sports category that
he put all the money. At the start, he bet about five hundred rubles, then about a
thousand, and so on increasing.
About a week later, he withdrew the remaining one and a half million rubles from the
account, and made bets on the outcome of hockey matches.
After each loss, the artist assured himself that he would win back and continued to
replenish the balance of the electronic wallet.
Where did that lead him? Leps sold his apartment in the center of Moscow and moved
to the suburb of St. Petersburg to continue to give his dubious hobby for the last
money.
