5 foods you shouldn’t eat on an empty stomach

1. Cold and carbonated drinks

Anything that contains carbon dioxide is a priori dangerous for the gastric mucosa, therefore, we do not recommend using citro and carbonated mineral water. Also, such drinks have a bad effect on blood flow, impair digestion. As for the cold liquid, it literally «burns» the unprepared gastric tract thermally, irritating its walls. If you want to start digestion in the morning — drink carrot and apple juice or warm water, but beware of using refreshing lemonades with ice even in the summer heat. Remember that the key to a good and productive day is a full and healthy breakfast.
